As of now, I am still able to post on PennLive, but others including GastonStreet (by the way, is that a reference to Gaston Street in Savannah?) and Jones123etc. I have posted complaining about it.
You are a SCAD grad? I love that place. You must have been there at the beginnings of SCAD. We go to Savannah at least once or twice a year. I just love the downtown, and Tybee island.
Some of the lofts are amazing, such a great commercial and residential mix. It's what I hope we can do here in Harrisburg, if I don't move to Savannah instead of waiting.
What I find frustrating is the constant announcements about new plans, before any are in fact finalized. I wrote a spoof press release once about that and sent it to the Patriot as commentary- announcing my plans for redevelopment. They rejected it. Maybe I will post it here someday.
GastonStreet - how about suggesting to the powers that be down at SCAD that they need a branch here. I've been thinking about that idea for a while. Just seed it all through like in Savannah. I was down there six months ago, and they even have begun renovating the mid-century modern motels!
If you don't like the way PennLive.com treats you, why do you hang out there? They have just as much right to police their forums in a manner that they consider to be appropriate as you do to ask (or order) an unwelcome guest to leave your house.
