More Threats

The City seems intent on playing the mushroom-cloud card. Now Randy King tells us the budget crisis means:

"unpaid vendors continue to pressure the city, with suppliers of bullets for police officers and an Internet provider for patrol car computers threatening to cease shipments and services.
"Vendors are cutting us off," King said. "We're talking about no Internet service for officers in the field; no bullets for officers."

I guess the officers will have to get bullets at Wal-Mart and will have to check for warrants the old-fashioned way.

I wish City Council would stick to their guns on the selling of Wild West Artifacts! Wether or not the selling is done to re-pay this short term bond or to be applied at a later date after the artifacts have been sold for a profit at auction. Either way, they need to be sold! It's time to trim the fat and that includes John Lavenda! And while they are at it, Randy King could go and never be missed! As for bullets and internet service, well I guess that means this blog will have one less viewer? Get real Mayor Reed!

And by the way, what are the police doing with all these bullets? Have you heard of anyone being shot by the cops lately?

That's a damn good point, GastonStreet. Just how many bullets do our men in blue need? Are there shootouts in the streets?
